Terms
Quote validity, payment, change orders and warranty. The ones that do not move are here; the ones specific to your job are on your quote.
Last updated 20 October 2026.
Everything specific to your job — the scope, the materials, the finish, the price and the dates — is set out on the quote we issue and, where applicable, on the shop drawings you approve. Those documents govern. What follows are the standard terms that sit behind them.
30 days on commercial work, 15 days on residential, from the date on the quote. Steel, aluminum and glass prices move; beyond those windows we re-price rather than absorb it quietly or ask you for more later.
The scope is what the quote says it is. If something changes — a dimension that moved on site, a finish you would rather have, an obstruction nobody could see — we issue a written change order with the price before the work is done. There are no verbal extras on a job of ours.
We take the site measurement ourselves, and the dimensions on the approved shop drawing are the dimensions we fabricate to. Fabrication starts after you approve that drawing. If the site changes after approval, that is a change order, not an argument.
Aluminum carries a twenty-year warranty against oxidation — factory replacement, at no cost to you. Terms for steel, stainless and glass are stated by name on your quote. Our workmanship — welds, anchors, alignment — is ours to put right. No warranty covers impact damage, alteration by someone else, or a finish that was never maintained. Optional coverages are available and are priced separately; they are never quoted on the same line as the twenty-year term.
If you buy a product yourself and we install it, the quote will say so. The product’s warranty is then the supplier’s, not ours; our responsibility is the installation.
All railings comply with the Ontario Building Code. Where a project requires drawings sealed by a professional engineer, that is arranged and priced on the quote — tell us at tender. We do not represent any drawing as sealed, as-built or engineering-approved unless it carries that seal.
We need access to the work area on the agreed day, and a path in and out for pieces that do not fold. Anchoring into stone, concrete or tile makes dust; we protect the area and clean up, and we will tell you in advance what will need patching or painting afterwards.
The content on this site is ours. Photographs are of work this company fabricated and installed. Nothing on this site is a quote or an offer; a price exists only when it is on a quote we have issued to you.
